The Next Challenge

I can't believe it but this is the LAST blog post of my 3 month commitment. Back in January, I started SHORT + ENOUGH and wrote on my Instagram that I was going to commit to three months of blogging weekly. It is almost surreal to think that I actually did it! The journey has been awesome and challenged me in many ways. I have decided to not post here as frequently -- ONLY because I want to produce better content. It was great to get into a habit of posting  but now it's quality over quantity. I want my blog posts to be more curated and more intentional.

IG vs Reality

I want my blog to be a place where honesty and transparency are key. It is so important to be honest with others and yourself. These days, social media has taken over and we see the lives of celebrities, friends, loved ones, etc. We only see the moments others want us to see. Their Instagram handles are a series of highly curated photographs. Everyone has their own struggles and most choose not to share them to the world.

Rough but Strong

I'm not going to lie, but this past week has been quite a roller coaster. I go through these phases of uneasiness every once in a while, but this week has been particularly rough for me. This past week was not great for me mentally and emotionally. I find myself battling my own negative thoughts and realize that my biggest enemy is myself. It feels like nothing is going right, but I find joy that tomorrow is a new day and brings the possibility of better news.

The Bigger Picture

Let me tell you, I tend to stress over the smallest things. I'm type A to the core and I like to plan out every little thing. It probably annoys my boyfriend a lot because he is definitely more spontaneous. I get stressed about things that haven't even happened yet.
