TATCHA TR LOTTE DOWNTOWN
SEOUL, South Korea
Lotte has a large presence in South Korea with many consumers from Mainland China frequently visiting its many locations. Tatcha opened its first Travel Retail experience in Lotteās Downtown location. The Visual Merchandising & Store Design team at Tatcha HQ collaborated with ZOO, a New York design agency, and Yemaek, a Korea vendor, to bring the Tatcha brand to life in the new regional market.
Utilizing the large backwall as a focal point, each section of the wall walks the consumer through the assortment of products available. The two portals showcase looping storytelling videos with product below. A large lightbox flanks one side while the bestsellers are ranked numerically on the other side of the wall. A large tester table and consultation stool are along the main aisle to draw customers in. The gold natsume table is strategically placed towards the backwall to invite customers into the space and encourage further exploration.
